Some programs limit the purchase price, so higher-priced EVs may not qualify. Trade-in requirements. Several programs require retiring and scrapping an older gas vehicle, so there's nothing to match if you don't have one. Closed funding. Programs run out of money or close their application windows, so one that matched last month may not be accepting applications today. Geographic restrictions. Many are limited to specific counties, utility territories, or air districts. An empty result is not an error. It means the programs as they stand today don't match your profile, and programs change through the year, so a scan that's empty today could return results later. If your scan finds nothing, you are never charged.
